Established in 2008, Heel & Toe is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a range of therapies and support to children with physical and complex disabilities in the North East region.

Founder Paul Bannister decided early in the charity’s journey ‘that no child should be denied therapy due to a lack of money’, Heel and Toe offer free Conductive Education Therapy for any child with Cerebral Palsy. Acculabs Diagnostics UK Ltd, based at Wynyard Business Park, is one of the UK’s leading private pathology organisations employing over 40 staff. Acculabs has been providing high quality pathology services to the NHS and General Practitioners, the private sector, and overseas clients for over 30 years. During this time, they have installed and managed over 120 laboratories in hospitals and clinics.

Jigsaw Insurance Services is an award–winning insurance broker specialising in protecting people and what matters to them, including car and pet insurance.  

ShipVet were formed in 1988 to provide ship vetting inspections to the six companies that control the chartering of most of the world’s oil tankers, collectively known as the ‘Oil Majors’. Following increased demand from the chemical industry in 1997, their offering grew to include additional services including ship vetting, assessments, expert witness work and training to some of the largest operators and vessels on the water.
